Why do some people repeat the same travel destinations?

In a world where people are constantly looking for must-see and must-visit travel locations to cross off their bucket lists, I prefer to return to the same travel destination over and over.

Why do some people return to the same location for travel?

  1. A strong bond, nostalgia, and familiarity with the place.
  2. Beautiful spots and great food.
  3. Historically and culturally rich place
  4. Exploring unexplored places. The more you repeat the travel destinations, you get to see the unexplored non-touristy places.

What kind of traveler are you? Are you the one who likes to repeat the same travel destinations?

I’ve been to Mcleod Ganj six times in the last five years, and each time I discover something new. I am always coming up with new stories and iterations of my travels. For those of you who do not know about Mcleod Ganj, Mcleod Ganj is a small hill station located in Himachal Pradesh at an elevation of 2,082 meters offering mesmerizing views of the Dhauladar range and starting point of many of the famous treks such as Triund Trek, Indrahaar Pass, Laka Glacier trek, etc. You can also experience the Tibetan and Israeli cultures closely. A perfect place for a weekend getaway.
