Happiness : The feeling of being alive

This is where i feel most alive 🌲🌿 Sometimes, you have to stop thinking so much and just go where your heart takes you♥️ If something makes you feel better, always make time for it🤞🏻

This was the longest time that I stayed in Manali because I and Mamma Papa had got corona, so that’s why we were quarantined for almost a month. Corona is such a disease that makes you sick more mentally than physically. After my quarantine was over, my brother took me to two or three places to make me feel a little better. One of those places was this Hampta Pass.

Hampta Pass sits at an altitude of 4270 m on the Pir Panjal range in the Himalayas. It is a small corridor between Lahaul’s Chandra Valley and the Kullu valley of Himachal Pradesh, India.

The trek begins in the green Kullu valley and crosses over, through Hamta Pass, into the drier region of Lahaul.Beyond Hamta Pass, trekkers can choose to extend their trek towards the beautiful Chandrataal lake. The nearest hub is Manali, in Himachal Pradesh. Most itineraries include transport from Manali to Jobri, from where the trek begins.

Short drive from Manali, passing Prini, Sethan, and Jobra. The road ends at Jobri, and climbers will cross a small river and begin the trek from there and trek ends at Chhatru.

We did not go for trekking because even after recovering from corona, there was a lot of weakness in the body. So we sat there for a while. Greenery all around. So peaceful and relaxed.. We went there with some snacks and ate it.

Took many pictures and then came back after some time. There were many good views along the way.

When you go towards Hampta pass, there comes a place on the way, there is also an igloo stay which was not there at this time due to corona. But whenever i come next time i will definitely go on trek and stay in igloo there too.
